It wasnt sleek enough to be a vette as I saw it side on at a roundabout. Is that the ONLY US car with twin round red lights side by side?
Thanks

Fitting your description, yes. Unless they weren't round.

You can't tell anything more about it? Color, size, shape, dual exhaust, vents, etc etc etc?

Shape was more boxy like a Shelby Mustang GT500 06/07, twin exhausts, lights were definitely red and round - maybe an aftermarket mod? The emblem reminder me of a prancing horse, and was in the centre of the boot, but it wasnt a Ferrari...

theres no other american sports car with that kind of tail light set up. since 96 all mustang tail lights are in three vertical bars. not round at all. the new ones have rounded off edges but they are pretty unmistakable. did the car have a glass hatch or a trunk lid?? did it have center exhaust or the pipes on either ends of the rear cover....id say you stumbled across a vette for sure. the mirrors on the C5 arent very small either

What is the Vauxhall version of the Pontiac GTO called? It definately fits the description and is sold in the UK. While a GM car it is Australian not US-- and can move.

Do you mean the Holden version of the GTO? Thats the Monaro.

Also I doubt it was a Corvette...euro vettes have orange in their tail lights and look closer to this...

Exactly- I cant post photo of tail-it is exactly as described-- GM lion( of Holden) or Vauxhall fits the description. Big V-8 can really move also.
