advice on clean exhaust tips

I just got a new exhaust/tips. What do you use to get the black buildup off of the tips. Is there a specific cleaner or polish that people use?
thanks.

Any type of metal or chrome polish, I use mothers and it works well, you just need to upkeep it.

I equate cleaning the inside of the tips as wiping your car's ***.

Yeah, any good metal cleaner then a weekly touch up with a glass cleaner.

It's amazing how much better the back of the car looks with clean pipes.

On the inside I use a stainless steel rotary brush on a drill motor and a stainless steel tooth brush.

Any good quality metal polish, I remove the tips and polish them with a bench mounted wheel and rouge about twice a year, they look new after that.
