I am getting ready to get my dedicated track set and would appreciate any recommendations on wheel/tire sizes. I usually buy my wheels from tirerack from the stuff they have for 996tt is either ugly or too expensive (eg bbs). Net I am thinking of picking up a used set of turbo wheels from ebay. Thanks in advance!

I have been told they are super strong, light, affordable via ebay, and they look great. I plan to use some for DE.

Tom, what suspension are you lowered on and did you roll your fenders to make those work?

OEM turbo twists are good for the track if you are not fanatical about wheel weights...if you are just starting out, it is a great choice. I have MPSC on mine...

Buy Tom's set or look at the classified section here, there usually are a few sets for sale.

any wheel you're not concerned about, should you have an off track excursion, is a good choice, lol. I wouldnt worry about looks honestly. If its a track setup, nobody will care what it looks like. I've seen some interesting setups at the track and never thought twice about it b/c I knew it was for a purpose.

Anyway, which track is down in PR? link?
