When I do my custom intercoolers can I take the end off the hose so that I can just use a hose clamp to hold it to the new intercoolers instead of the factory style that the stock intercoolers use?

 

You can, however as long as you're doing custom ICs, you might as well do hard piping at least in the engine bay. Also make sure you measure carefully and have large diameter hoses - my EVOM ones fit upgraded end tank outlets, however the AP ones didn't.
