When you talk about layering, are you just referring to periodic applications of the top coat (Z2) without stripping or reapplication of Z1?
I don't use Z1 at all. Instead, I use the ZFX w/ the Z2. Hazes much faster. Speeds up process considerably when putting on multi-coats.
