That color is a $20,000 option from BMW, can't imagine what Porsche would charge for it....
A cool color indeed

BMW always has the best colors IMO.

I painted my fbody Black Sapphire Metallic.

If I ever got an M3, I'd go for the Mystic Blue Metallic. This chrome shadow looks great too.

I don't remeber exactly...I haven't been around the BMW forums since I sold my M5 last year... I know its a special paint or paint process or somthing... Its deff. cool looking, but 20K is a bit steep...

It's actually not offered as even an individual option. Since the process is so complex, and it comes out with so much variance, BMW will not do it to any customer car. Search the M5 board, and you will find a link about the source of the paint. If someone is daring enough, they should order it and try it.

Its called Chrome Saddow and its not an option even though BMW Individual, however, I hear you can aquire the paint in Germany if you have the right connections. There is a guy who painted his E36 that color but it looks like ***.

Awesome... BMW has some nice colors. Almost as cool as this polished aluminum Aston Martin Lagato from the Brumos Collection.

and yes... a Porsche can be ordered in any color you want... as long as your wallet can back up the order.
