getting so close I can taste it! IA900 996tt
Its always like that so take seat back and relax... just part of the game we all play...
for example, I broke 2 stock axles sets and 2 billet ones.... a handful of clutch problems.... etc... imagine taking work off... traveling to a warmer state(700 miiles) and trying to run a 1/4 twice only to break something at the launch...
So just forget about it for a few days .. it will come true....

Seriously, if you have to do all over again would you do it?
The dyno....humph
Well after getting through all of Suman's additional request we went to back the car off the lift. Start it up and 5 seconds of music then off. Again we try, and a again. The freaking car will not stay running. What the hell?! I start tearing stuff apart, I mean all the crazy wiring to the pumps, ECU everything. Nothing shows up. No codes no anything. I called Suman asking how in the hell do you bypass the turbo timer. Try that, still no good. Change the ignition switch, notta. WTF!
So the PIWIS is hooked up while we are running test and finally I get a coolant temp sensor failure. Not the one for the gauge but the unit for the DME. I have had this happen one other time with a 997TT. Switch goes bad or is unplugged, car will not run. I finally got the confirmation around 4:30. Not enough time to get and it is well, under about 4-5 hours of **** in the motor.
So no dynos today. Believe me I want to post some numbers and I want the car to go home. I have the show this weekend and that starts tomorrow, so Monday we will replace the switch and more than likely dyno on Tues.
So now, I am headed to kick someone in the head or at least choke someone. That always makes me smile
