As far as falling apart. One coolant line broke already as well as an EVOMS purchased GT2 clutch master cylinder which they did not replace on there tab and was actually dished out of stephens pocket.
What fluid where they using ? Isn't the GT2 setup for DOT3 whereas the standard TT setup and release uses Pentosin ?Originally Posted by Highhats
All I dont trust any Dynapack numbers for its a hub dyno. If anyone has concrete Mustang/dynojet number from these Proto HUGE HP claims I would really like to hear them.As far as falling apart. Yes they do and yes we used DOT3. We aren't hacks over here!

I was just curious as I had one near new go recently as well after the conversion. In Jan we had a batch of them go bad, about 4 to be exact. Their QC on these suck.

Sure money makes all the difference... you still need certain basics( very expensive) to be met to be able to run a 9 second pass... luck alone is not going to do it... and only select few are willing to beat up and rip apart the cars... Originally Posted by joetwint

I respectfully disagree that both cars were same weight... and yes weight makes all the difference... I was at 3150 plus driver... I have the slip....
My point was that Suman's argument that other cars, like mine for example, that never see a mustang Dyno are probably not producing the H published... that just doesn't make sense... especially when he used the Evom's car as an example... and how they ran the fastest with less HP then I... IDK I dont want to get into that argument... all I said was that a lot more goes into running a mid 9 sec run then mustang HP dyno numbers and "things going right that day"...
Had it been that easy it would come long before...

You like I have been waiting for dyno sheets. So the wait should end soon I hope. Hopefully by early this week she can hit the dyno.

Last time I tried a standard roller dyno, my car spun on it. No need for me to try it again.

I agree with you on the dyno #'s and always felt a dynojet reads high in fact Evo will tell you that their mustang reads around 50hp lower than their old dynojet at the 800hp level....I never disputed Protos dyno #'s I also never put much weight in dyno #'s .......mph gives a better indication......Hell my car walked away from a supposed 900rwhp Ford Gt and at the time made no where near those #'s....its just a reference point for tuning .Get it on the track and get some #'s to find out what someones car is really doing. As far as the 9.67 that Evoms ran it did come down to just a few things going right this is where we disagree. The car was running 10.1's its previous 3 passes (at two different tracks). The weather had turned and the temp dropped to 60 degrees and was dry ,there were a lot of fast big tire cars putting good rubber on the track,Todd Z stayed in the groove,AND MOST OF ALL the track had traction (if you notice in the vid he couldn't even spin the tires). The car made 750 RWHP on their Mustang.Originally Posted by MARKSKI

The stars were aligned correctly for their run AND they were prepared and motivated
to take advantage of those stars. Good for them, it is still quite an accomplishment regardless of how it was done. Good info Joe!
