My experience at RPM Racing
My experience at RPM Racing
Guys,
I got my car back from RPM racing today. It went in for an alignment/suspension adjustment, and a couple of other minor things. Firstly, Tim (the owner) was able to fit me in on short notice which i really apprecaite. He took me for a tour around the shop, showed me Eddie Bello's 964, and a few other cars. He took me for a ride in his Red 996tt (this thing is INSANE) and answered about 10000 questions i had.
They took my car, and tim explained to me what exactly he was going to do regarding my alignment, and that it takes longer than your typical alignment.
After several hours of fine tuning the suspension, and im talking adjusting to the millmeter incriment.. my car is now absolutely perfect. its totally flat on the corners, doesnt squat like it did before, and doesnt dive like it did before either... and drives absolutely straight.. its adjusted to GT-2 specs in all respects (except caster)
Also, more importantly, is the level of expertise these guys have. They tune their own cars... as in , sit down with a computer, and a dyno, and make their own software...
They currently have the worlds fastest porsche, so theyre definately doing something right.
Eddie Bello, who also works there, probably knows more about the 3.6 liter engine than ferdinand porsche himself.
theyre literally a bunch of car junkies who have a huge passion for cars.
I am beyond satisfied with these guys, and they will be doing my 700 hp build when the times comes.
i will HIGHLY recomend these guys to anyone who is looking for a REAL race shop. no corners are cut, and the job is done perfect. just so you guys know, my particular alignment/suspension adjustment took more than 6 hours of dialing in.. they adjusted, and drove the car, until it was perfect.
thanks again Tim & the rest of the guys..

eddies car is fast for 964 turbo ?
Dude,
you do realize that car gets to 200 mph quicker than its taking me to write this post right ?
as far as alignment.. they dont just "adjust camber"
your car goes on the alignment machine, and they start from 0 until its perfect...
