Question about a Turbo on autotrader
organized crime is a lucrative business, with a vast network. like the dominicans and their buky gambling business. all a large enterprise. the worst scam of them all is the bottled water business. you ask me, i say Arrowhead and sparklets are part of the mafia. or Malibu lighting, have you been to home depot and seen all the different outdoor lighting companys, all owned or subdivision of Malibu lighting (purchaser must be getting a huge kick back) which btw requires their own $6.00 bulb, not compatible with anything else. i wanted to change careers but i was scared what god might say.
Plasma for the bathroom??? HUH???
You are putting a plasma screen in your bathroom? How much time do you spend in there?

beware of these ****in crooks. they are all over ebay and making tons of money, especially on the plasma tv site of ebay, i mean a dime a dozen. i have dealt with a few of them on several occasions, while looking for a plasma for the bathroom. i called a 996TT guy out on this pretending i was naive and a dumb rich guy just to try to figure out the scam. they all and i mean all claim that they are out of the country on business or moved, this TT guy your talking to is gonna claim he moved back to france and was gonna ship his car back over to france but because of the different governing on cars it would be too much of a hastle and money. he will either ask you to send a retainer of $3500 through western union or e-escrow to him in europe. and will have the car shipped to you to inspect and at that time you pay in full, but ofcorse there is no car that will be shipped. the carfax actually panns out correctly. btw the 28k turbo i was looking at was on yahoo's cars.com 2 months ago, same guy i'm sure, i sent him a letter saying that if he finds anyone dumb enough to send him the money he deserves it. no reply.

I got a couple of e-mails in response to AutoTrader ads asking for "as many pictures as possible", the VIN, and a fax of the window sticker. I became suspicious when 2 e-mails were worded identically, including abbreviations. One ad was for a Toyota, the other for a Porsche.
Anyone else get something similar?
