The OEM hoses work fine with the B6's, however, you will have to modify the plastic IC surround, as you would with all larger aftermarket IC's. Also, I believe the hole into the engine compartment has to be enlarged a bit for good hose clearance...They can be made to fit very much like the OEM IC's, but the plastic IC surround has to be trimmed to allow proper fitment.

According to Todd K, if you are doing his kit you want his big *** I/C (and they are
impressive). I asked the same question. My intercoolers will support ANY amount of mods that I do in the future.

On a side note does anyone have information regarding some of their new products? Y-pipe and intake plenium?
i didnt see he Y pipe or the intake plenum on their site .....

I believe they are 4.5" thick vs. 3" for the B6's and they are made to mate up to the 2.5" proto piping/Y-pipe with 2.5" silicon hose...

Great IC's. I bought mine off ebay and it too did take a while to get. I was impressed with the quality. Making the shrouds fit is doable and you can leave out the rubber grommets so the clips that hold the intercooler into the metal frames will fit. Takes a little work but not hard and very nice piece for the cash.

the dimensions are : 3.5x9.5x12.4
mine are 4.5x8.8x12's.

Todd does his on the car and utilizes every available inch for the end tanks.
Its about a week of work. His run 3 times the ones of blown6. He makes the end tanks as a one off... vs someone who has the endtanks casted
markski

Dan, The B6's are delivered with OEM style fittings on both ends. Some of us have modified the B6's with larger piping on each end for direct hose w/hose clamp attachment to compliment larger Y-pipes, bigger turbos, etc..

We can pull off the CNC machined fittings on our hoses so you can do a direct hose fit. Just need to know the diameter.

Dan, I cut mine off, but I know the EVO silicon hoses fit right in because that is what I used on the B6 previously. So whatever the EVO hose fitting is...that is your answer, you probably know...
