Offset depends on if you're rolling fenders or not as well as how much camber you're going to run. A +45 will fit with ease with rolled fenders. I have +40 9 inch with my 255 and actually run an 8mm spacer as well as have a essentric lca tgats pushed out 3/8 inch over stock running 2.5 camber and could even move it out further. If you're willing to roll fenders you gain a lot of room.

Thx guys,
i guess the best tire for me will be the 255/35 cause its smaller than 235/40 diameter wise (around 10mm). Thats alot. I will use Yokohama A052 tires cause i can go the 996 GT2 size or the 255/35+295/30 route.
Lets see what will peform better on the racetrack.

Well, i was on the track. It was quite wet and slippery i did use the toyos r888 in GT2 size.
They performed really good. The track got dry later so i could run some fast laps.
the grip over the tt standard is hugh.
245 or 255 would be even better.
Well lets see which tite is available next year.

Depends on the hardware.
My 235/40 isnt rubbibg with 8.5x18 Offset 40 rims. There is 5 mm spacer between fender and tire when compressed to the fullest.
Could get tricky with the 245/40.
witz 255/35 there will be more space cause the tite is in diameter smaller
