Guys,

I have been in constant contact with Brockway during the redesign phase and it has taken a few twists and turns. Unfortunately, it has been a long process, but the good news is that a final design is very close to being produced and if all goes well, we will have some of the first units in a few weeks. SpeedTech is having a run produced in single din size, with a plain black front plate for a clean look and amber/orange LED display to match the Porsche OEM lighting. The new version will offer a 2 line/two function display like the original and the option of a programmable shift light. I will update this thread, as soon as I have additional news. This is a great little product and I look forward to seeing it available again - it even clears CEL's on the fly...

Here is the latest on this...

I have a commitment to have 5 units delivered by the end of September with additional inventory by the end of October. The new design will be very similar to the original and retain the two line display. We will be utlizing amber colored LED's to match the Porsche OEM appearance and of course will retain the valuable dual bank AFR digital readout feature. Below is a picture of the new design and a link to the web page. 6speed price is $349.00 each - Yes, unfortunately they have gone up, but that is the new price. IMO, still a great bang for the buck, considering it is about 12 gauges in one and a code reader/clearer on top of that...

Of the first 5 I receive, I can sell 4 of them when they arrive. If anyone on this board is interested in one of these first 4 units, please PM or email me and I will be happy to take an order and ship when they arrive. Beyond these first four, I should have additional inventory in greater quantities approximately 30 days later (end of october)...

Here's the new look...if you go to the web page and click on the picture, you can see a high quality image of the new layout.

Hey John, Do you know if the R2000 has the dual bank AFR digital readout feature?

.. and does it read from the obdii or do you need to hook up a wire?

Unfortunately, Brockway announced today that they are discontinuing operations. This was a great little gauge. For anyone on the fence about purchasing a Speedtech R9000 Multi-Gauge - the time has come to purchase one. Brockway (our private label supplier) for this product has announced they have discontinued business and will no longer produce these gauges. I only have a few left that can be purchased at the 6-speed price of $349.99

I think I have 2-3 with amber color display and 2 with white color display. I am told tech support/warranty from the manufacturer will continue for us through the end of 2009.
