Anyone have some 0-60, 1/4 mile and 0-200 comparision between modded GT2 and TT?

Also, the car will be taken to the track alot as well, not just 1/4 mile.

I would think that the srt-10 in stock trim would be able to stay with a 996 turbo or GT2 in a turn. Correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't the viper slalom around 71-72MPH and the Turbo is around 68-69MPH. I know that the viper has better stopping distances, and I am pretty sure that the viper is faster 0-60 and 1/4 mile stock. Also the viper has much more HP potential than the TT. Then again IMO the TT has it in the looks and build quality, but for the 40K difference, it is hard to justify the porsche.

SRT-10 is not even close to GT2 handling. I'd like to see the Viper break 7:50 on the Nurburgring Nordschliefe.
I think you should see by now that building the ultimate street and track car is impossible. There are always trade-offs.

I ran my car with a Gtech Pro (Proven to be about .1-.2 accurate) and my best run with an EASY launch was 11.64@126. The speed is known to be off on these, but the time is supposed to be about right...somwhere around 11.5-11.8. My car only has an ECU and Exhuast (well Airfilter and DV's, but they don't do much). It dynoed at 468RWHP...

Ok, still back onto the question: Other than less wait, RWD, and a different engine setup; is there any other advantages that the GT2 has over the TT? Is the wheel base identical?

wish my shoes ran 12's
Alex:My buddy ran his Gtech Pro on his 993TT while running at the track. He always ran within .2 of his time at the track with the Gtech (ran multiple times...).

If you get a chance try it out at the track (perfect video op lol)...
If I were looking to mod a car to show off the 0-60, 1/4 mile times/traps, etc. I'd look for a platform that is tuned more for this type of performance. I used to be a Corvette owner, so I'd point you towards a '03 or '04 Z06. Great handling with a bias towards acceleration. I know a few individuals who've lightly modded ($ wise relative to Porshce) their Z06s and are pulling in the 10s in the 1/4 mile.
Ever since I was a kid the Porsche 911s ability to accelerate was always exciting to me. However, what always impressed me most was its balanced performance curves. Acceleration, braking, handling, etc. I considered its acceleration was mainly to shorten those straights between the corners. In well trained hands even a nasty early 930 was about the most wicked tool one could have on good old Highway 1 or on Mulholland.
geez, here I am, a newbie on this board rambling away. Apologies!
