TT Cab market soft?

Just curious if the TT Cab market is soft? There are a couple TT Cabs at my local dealer for probably a month or more. Whereas, their first ones were spoken for before they hit the ground.

The issue for me was that I could have had one off the lot but when I was getting what I deemed a special (and expensive car) I wanted it MY WAY, with MY OPTIONS, etc. So I went with an order. If I wanted to "settle" for an in stock cab, I coulda gotten one at a good discount, but...........................

I have to think most folks spending upwards of $140K are this way too.

In addition to the reason deeroff stated, I think the other reason is the dealers seemed to order turbo cabs fully loaded (including X50)--a local dealer had one in stock for a few months like this, and not everybody wants all those crazy options. Plus with the Turbo S pricing, buying an '04 comparably equipped (assuming you want PCCB) doesn't make sense.
