Aloha Guys...
Per recommendations on a separate thread, I contacted Warranties4Wheels.com, which is a warranty broker, to get a quote on my 2001 996TT with 17K miles. They gave me two quotes, one for an exclusionary which is five years with unlimited mileage...$4,412 with $200 per visit deductible through "Genuine Warranty Solutions." The other is $2,675 with $0 deductible through "Nationwide Auto Warranty" which is a "Listed Compoment" warranty. That warranty covers five year or 75K additional miles. The contracts are attached below if you are interested.
Does anyone have experience with warranties from either of these companies? I'd likely sleep better knowing that I have a good warranty, but WOW, is $4,412 worth it?
FYI, I found out that companies such as Warranty Direct and Easy Care won't warranty a vehicle more than five years young unless the warranty is purchased through a dealer in conjunction with the vehicle purchase.
