Wheel Hop

I have a 2005 TTS with UMW Flash (94 Octane) and an EP2.

I have noticed that when i floor it out of right hand corners, i get a lot of wheel hop. I have brand new tires. Now, it is quite cold in the great white north and i am running on summer tires (with very dry pavement of course). Could it be that the rubber is cold or is it something else? I have Gemballa springs....Any help is much appreciated.

Hi, First check your tire psi. Then adjust your rebound and dampening setting, If they are adjustable.

I will certainly do that. But i don't recall it hopping on the stock file. But that was in the summer,,,and the reason for my thinking it may be just rubber being super cold.

Last time I asked this question (a few weeks ago, do a search) was told that running 18s would help out. I guess the thicker tire helps out.
