Alrighty, Peter. Next time I will use my telekinetic powers to levitate my car over the water
.
We are having a dedicated dry lane today, yes?
This event is starting to become an endurance race, yes? Very few have been able to successfully compete in all events.

Sean, you needed to quickly spin the tires to clean them off (as opposed to a full burnout). There were cars cutting 1.2x and 1.3x 60' foot times, so the track was DEAD HOOKIN (just not on wet tires)
As for the USCC, you are right, tough competition.
Dedicated dry lane at the 60 to 130 - yes

Any burnout at all will result in wheel hop in my car and an expensive broken axle. My $750 repair bill from Thursday was enough for me.
Glad to hear there will be a dry lane today. I will be competing against Marty and his friend Eric in the Vette, both of whom are GREAT competitors. Those two are true sports car enthusiasts. The most amazing performance of the whole event IMO was when Eric, a fairly inexperienced road course driver ran a 2 minute flat at TWS (OK, he was on Hosiers, but awesome nonetheless...who was driving Tags car, btw?). Marty is also a hell of a driver.

Robert,
After 700 miles (and 8-9 passes on the dragstrip, lol) my clutch is FINALLY broken in.
BTW, I could not hook up AT ALL today. The track was horrible in terms of traction. After all the monster Supras ran 7-8 second passes and my little old GT2 got out there it was like a skating rink. I granny shifted 1st and 2nd for my fastest time of the day, an 11.97 w/ a trap of 130.
Of course none of the monster Supras ran the road course, so I am still up there in terms of the overall competition.
