On the driver side control arm, there is a lever that looks like it is supposed to be attached to the control arm. Instead its flopping around and isn't secure to the control arm. The lever comes off of a sensor or capacitor or some sort of control box(about an inch cube) that is attached to the body of the car and has wires attached to it. Can anyone tell me what this may be. I am guessing it has something to do with PSM, and is the reason I have had pulsing brakes and PSM/ABS lights.

The only confusing part is three dealers on 5 seperate occasions haven't noticed it. I only noticed it while doing some maintenance on the car last week.

 

That may be your self leveling light control, again I am not sure , its hard to picture what your saying with out ..well a picture.

 

I think it is related to traction control. It looks like a dog bone and about 4 inches long right?

 

It is the headlight level control, but I also believe it reads data for the PSM as well.
