actually, there is no secret on Rob's turbos.... at least not on his...
They are simply made per order by Bobby to Bobby/s liking... where he likes his compressor wheel to be a little tighter then normal.. etc...
It really comes down to the building of the turbo... including quality control...
do you have some 23 year old kid doing the assembly or an owner of a company by his own hands that have been doing it for 20 years... that's the difference...
It's like a lawyer that has 20 years experience and knows his ways around the court room vs. a young buck that still doesn't know his way into the courtroom... LOL
Sure, there are special features available... where Bobby spends on tun of labor hours just to get something right... like utilizing light materials and other technology not common on regular Garrett turbos... but thats between the turbo builder and he....
