luting_chen,
Isn't all of this moot since you are selling the old bumper. Wouldn't the recouped costs from the sale of the old bumper, + what the insurance company gives you, be enough to cover the replacement?

Ken my guess is the repair will be around $600 to $800.00. The Techart front bumper is around $3600.00. If he sells the damaged bumper for 1500 which is what I sold mine for damaged, it will still cost another $1500, plus the paint and install of the new one.

I guess you never asked for anything out of the ordinary.
If you never ask, you'll never know.
Some people simply live in a square 'BOX' and never ask what 'if'.

out of the ordinary and being a total putz about a situation are completely different.

if you go back to your post on rennlist, you will see everyone thinks you are being retarded about the situation. They even agree w/ my statement that you are much better off going and having it done by a respectable shop.

here, I'll help you out a little bit and direct you to the post

Duane: KPV:
not exactly ^_^...b/c I have 1000 deductible...
and the repair for the bumper is about 1000 too...
that means I gotta pay for everything...that's why i'm asking insurance to replace it for me...
4000 for the new bumper (tax included), 600 (installation and paint) = 4600
highest bid for my current bumper is 1600....that means I gotta pay 3000 out of my own pocket....
and that sucks...

msindi ^___^
not the GTS bumper...
I'm talking about TechArt II...

I've phoned CEC, they quoted me 5950 For GTS, and By-Design Quoted Me 5250...
That's way off the range...
I don't think that 3 piece carbon is worth the extra 2000
