Looking for the best place to run a wire from the passenger compartment into the trunk in front. Has anyone ever run a wire through the firewall? Is there an existing grommet? I'm guessing someone has done a stereo install and has good advice.

There is a grommet that you can run it thru, its on the driver side behind the battery.

If you were hardwiring a radar detector into the car, where would you pick up power? Would you go directly to the fuse box or tap in somewhere?

I tapped into the power for the overhead lights. The thing that helped most was my currency tester. I don't remember anything else about it. Was to long ago.
