So much for the self imposed exile from the "6"..... Scott has to muck it all up by running a record time:). Anyway, for anyone that is interested Scott and Mark both had 2 shifts and identical avg long G's of .69 over the run. Very similar power although Scott did beat Mark by 10.5 feet or 2/3rds of a car length. On balance though, Scott had a more level run so would most likely be ahead by a bit more than is shown in these numbers given equal slopes of both vehicles. Those Proto cars sure do scoot . Congrats!

Thanks for taking the time to verify the data, Kevin. It's much appreciated, bud.

Wow, that is a very fast car. My buddy just bought a GT700 car and i think that car hauls ass. Just wondering, where do you your runs, seeing as your in VA and that is a car nazi state. Also, do you ever come out to the 6speed meets in the area? Me and my buddy would love to see your car in person

All of my runs are done in Mexico, of course.:)

As far as the meets, the MD ones are all 3 hours away from me. I've just never felt like driving that far to attend.

Ahh, so are you down towards Richmond? Or VA Beach area?

Of course they are done in Mexico ;)

If you ever make the trip up here towards the Maryland/VA border it would be great to meet up. I would also love to try the driftbox on my Evo and see how my 60-130 compares to you Porsches :D

N2it 04-13-2008 10:13 PM

Holy smokes man!

That is just sick.

Love to see these 2 shift runs, great time, congrats Scott!

Anyway, I see what you're saying. I too would really like to see one of the math wizards out there come up with an accurate formula for figuring out rwhp by using 60-130 times and car/driver weight.

Todd might still have a spreadsheet I sent him a while back, it will give you your exact rwhp or fwhp that you are puting down for every RPM point as long as your long G data is accurate.

Wow, great numbers Scott - that's simply amazing.

What tires did you use for the run? R-compounds or DR's? I can't imagine what that acceleration feels like, insane.

iLLM3 04-14-2008 12:28 AM

Very very fast and good driving, congrats!

hesperus 04-14-2008 12:50 AM

i can't get my head around what that kind of acceleration must feel like.

congrats!!! keep pushing the envelope man!

I already gave you a link to the thread that covers my entire build process....but here it is again:https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...ad.php?t=74560

And before you ask, on pump gas my car is significantly faster than a stock C6 Z06.

Thanks for a kind reply...and all the info...

If you car wondt be faster then stock Z06 I would give up...On my E55 with 620 HP at the crank on pump gas I could beat stock Z06...0-150

God damn that car is fast. The vids really put in into perspective the way you just left that M6 sitting still hilarious Must be a really fun car.

the point is.......Divexxtreme's Proto 996TT is "SIGNIFICANTLY" faster than a stock Z06.......not just "a little faster" like your modded E55.
