First off I love my strait pipes, loud and loving it!! I want to weld in some cats maybe 100 or 200 cells, the reason being is I am sick and tired of getting really dirty looks from everyone, I know it will help with the noise levels. Unless you have heard a cold start with strait pipes and you have NO idea how loud these are. Any tips or directions would be appreciated.I have no interest to quiet it down for me, but maybe its time..honestly its LOUD!!

 

I dont think cats are going to quite it down that much, waste IMO if your trying to suppress noise levels. Maybe some nice 3" shorty mufflers would work out better. Check into Vibrant's line.

I TOLD YOU SOOOOOOOO haha, loud is an understatement! I had the FVD pipe's, cool for like the first few hours, then I never wanted to drive the car until I swapped back to my FVD exhaust!

 

....I love the sound honestly, i cant handle the dirty looks!

 

All I get is drooling looks and requests to do burn outs and take offs so they can hear the car.

I dont too much care anyways.

 

Hahah the looks are awesome! You should hear straightpipes with GT28 Turbos and EVO headers! Now thats something!
