Alex talked me into 996TT instead of SC my C4S

Alex (and James) at SharkWerks have been taking care of my C4S https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...ht=sensitive47 for the last two plus years. In the quest for more power, we discussed SC my car. Alex urged me to not go this route but to get a TT instead...So I listened to him and bought a new to me 2002 Black/Black TT. It came with the factory aero, advanced design package, rear center console painted silver, brake/shifter carbon/aluminum, heated seats. It was purchased from a local original owner with 20,000 miles.

Alex and James immediately went to work on it. We moved the 19" HRE Competitions, the PSS9's, H&R sway bars, and the SSK over from the C4S.

Alex and James then flashed the ECU, changed the diverter valve, new plugs, and put on a Remus exhaust. Not bad for 2 1/2 weeks of ownership. The mod bug is so bad!

My reaction to going from the C4S (actually still have it but the wife says I must sell it!) is pure excitement. I am so glad I listened to Alex, and I want to thank them for the fantastic work they did, with more to come..the EVO 610 kit will be next in a few months.

Good move. I sold my C4S to get the TT back in December. Although the C4S was a great car, I was surprised/pleased at how much quicker the TT is. My car was the test car for the GT610 kit and I would highly recommend it based on the couple months I've been driving the car with the upgrade. Now I just need to do the coilovers and sways!

Congrats!

Hey Sensitive47, it was great to see you today and thank you for the support. We're ever so lucky to have such a hardcore group around here I'm _seriously_ happy you went that route though. To me the TT will always be a torque monster by comparison... and then there's that dry sump motor.... You got off to one great start though eh? But you did slip today by mentioning the 610 kit

Whatever happened to the guy that had the SC on the 997 and all those mods for tracking trying to decide if he wanted to get a GT3 or not?

Well the way this car is set up he's got a lot more torque. Don't just think peak numbers either (250 foot pounds more though) because with the TT it peaks a LOT sooner than on the NA 996.

Never listen to Alex I wasn't sure about any mods after I got my TT in 05. I read everything I could here on the 6 and finally called him about options for a tuned exhaust. I finally got to his shop, and by the time I got out of there had an AWE exhaust, EVO headers, GIAC flash, PSS9's, etc. I was really nervous about the mods cause it was my first Pcar and didn't want to mess the car up. Now, I couldn't be happier. My car pulls so hard. After my car comes off extended warranty next summer, I going to have Sharkwerks do the EVO 610 or 660.

These cars come with a warranty? Good to hear from you the other day and next time you're around drop in. Still got to take you for a ride in the RS and Cayman S
