So I was out to dinner last night with a buddy who has a 03 996 Turbo. He told me that on the way to dinner he came up against a SL65 that smoked him. He has a Upsolute chip, wheel spacers and tubi exhaust and that's it for mods. I told him he could definitely add more HP and a better suspension and wheels. So who better to ask than the guys with the modded 996 turbos on this board. My question is what mods should he look at next for HP, Suspension and Wheels and their associated costs? I think he'd like a lot more HP but still reliable for a daily driver. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

 

A TT can give you almost stock reliability into the 600 hp range easily. Then he can go get revenge on the SL65.

K24's or Hybrids.
-will need a new clutch at that point.

Suspension wise he can get PSS9 or PSS10 coilovers for the street.
Wheels are wheels, prices are going to vary.

 

Call Sharky for the EVO 660 kit. The SL65 will not stand a chance.
