there is no problem i used a special gel and is ok, there is no noise in the transfer case so everything is ok

Nice, to know Porsche guys are gearheads not affraid to tear into things.

..I just picked up an automatic 2002. Anything I should know about these trannies as I'm new to Porsches? Any do and dont's?

The tip box takes a surprising amount of abuse including left foot brake/emergency brake/right foot throttle starts to get the boost up. Just get out there and enjoy it.

For serious track driving an external cooler for the tranny is not a bad idea.

And once you start going into the big horsepower upgrades consider upgrading the tranny/torque converter to take the additional power. There have been a number of people on this forum that have already upgraded their tip tranny's for bigger horsepower and they would be great resources for you to ensure you get the most out of your tip (craig, sharkey are a couple of names that I remember having done a lot in the past).
