Most ceramics are as good as a semi-metallic pad. Read some characteristics:

Also, try some wheelwax. If you are still running semi-metallic pads (ie, metal), this stuff helps the wheel repel the dust:

stopping power not compromised?
life of pads comparable to stock?
warrantable?
cost?

I do not know what the OE Porsche pad composition is, so I cannot promise that ceramics will provide better brake, especially with cermic rotors. Certainly how you are driving matters, too. On the average car, however, ceramics are coming as OE and they provide as good or better braking, MUCH less dust, and are quieter after breakin without sacrificing life. Check with your dealer on warranty, but I doubt there would be an issue as these are wear items.
