I sat the car down today off of the jack stands finally!!! I have one small problem though, the rear driver side inner fender well is touching the tire slightly. At first it was hardly touching if that, but after a lap around the neighborhood it looks like its rubbing a little. We have a temporary solution, but what does everyone do to fix this?

A few questions. Front or rear is rubbing? What size tires/wheel/offset\?. What part of the inner well does the tire come in contact with. Spacers might fix the inner well from rubbing. It's a cheap and easy fix.

You can bag the inner wheel fender or add spacers and roll fenders

LOL, Maybe... Everything seems perfect "crosses fingers" but the damn intake housing on the turbo pushes the driverside wheel well further towards the inside of the tire. We have a temporary fix and he is on his way into work with the car right now. Hope I dont have to pick him up! Any other ideas?

Made it to the office. 50 miles almost exactly on the car so far. Our temp. solution is working fine, so far. I cannot wait to get into it!!!!

What size spacers should I get?

You can cut it or better yet is to bang on the inner fender to make it fit... this is a real problem with my car since I am using the Proto set up... but for 800 plus 3.8 liter hp I dont mind :-)

The support that holds the bottom screws needs the be cut off and the screw needs to be raised up about an inch or two then trim the left over that rubs. The gt2s are set up same way but the inner is molded to clear so no cutting. Also clock the turbo an let the hose take the slack.... Watch for rubbing as it will cause a fire! Ask some one who used gt2 rims with out spacers................................Tim

Chris, just bend up the support bracket and it'll be fine. That lower screw is gonna be a ***** though!

I was in Houston this weekend and didn't even think to give you a shout man. Great area!

Good luck, and let us know how it rips!
