John really. So I can get away with bigger injectors, 5 bar fpr, and fuel pump
I do not believe that you use the 5 bar with the injectors and pump with these turbos. I think you need to speak with a tuner familiar with these and get the proper parts - you require specific injectors, pumps, MAF, etc. I would not try to piece this together without professional advice...

you will still be good to go with your stock internals , torque is a bit higher then the 18 gs but not as much as the gt 30s would give you . torque bends rods .

Man, that thing is going to make some noise with all the venting to atmosphere going on and a 3" catless exhaust!

Well I drove the only 20g by protomotive as well as a full 18g set up...
This 20g ran a 1239 mph trap and ran 10.1 - granted on drag radials and C16... with lots of boost....
however, one needs more then just the above mentioned including the correct tune, maf and maf housing... Intercoolers are a must as well as a clutch...
Protomotive I would trust only since they have a good amount of time behind it...

John, Markski, and Unvmym3 thanks for all your help when I post these newbie questions on the board.

I know this must sound silly, but lets says I just replace my K24 18G Turbos with K24 20G turbos and keep all of my fueling stock and just run 1.1 bar to it.

I was just looking for a little more than 490-510 RWHP quoted on the K24 18G setup. I know the K24 20G setup would have potential to make more power I was just looking at 530-550 RWHP on 91 octane and somewhere around 1.0-1.2 bar of boost tops. I just want a faster car without running too much boost or having to use race fuel all the time. Pretty much I just want a car that has around 650 HP to the flywheel. I was going to try to run the Vivid 650 set, but could not find anyone to purchase my brand new K24 18G turbos and my stainless headers. Another supplier is offering to help me out and supply some K24 20G turbos for me to try out. I was thinking this might be a better route to hit 650 flywheel horsepower since I already have almost everything I need.

If I have to buy more fuel mods I have no problems with that.

Here are the list of my current mods getting installed

GT2 OEM Intercoolers
Softronic Programming
Spec Stage 3 Clutch and Flywheel
K24 turbos with 18G wheel and 1.2 bar wastegates
Fabspeed Exhaust
Fabspeed Headers
EVOMS Intake
5 bar FPR
Agency Power Boost Hoses
Greddy Profec B Spec 2

There is absolutely no way any of us can answer that question- and neither can any tuner until he actually does it... sure we can speculate but I would not go that way...

I know that I drove the 20G wiht the fuel system , ICs... the wirks and we ran 1.2 bars on 103 octane. wiht that said I doubt u can run 1.1 on pump..
thats how u blow it up.... heck, the 18g with stock fuel system on the protomotive set up runs 1.1 bars on pump.... so how can u expect the same boost on bigger compressor wheels?

Yeah those are the things I am clueless about. Going to talk to Softronic and Vivid tommorrow and see what kind of fueling I might need to upgrade to. I don't even mind running less boost such as .9 bar just to get around 540 RWHP on pump gas. Right now on pump gas Vivid with the K24 with 18G wheel is hitting 500 RWHP.

FWIW, I was told not to run over 1 bar on 91, not recommended, with the k24/18g's. I would gather that would be the same for the 20g's, and the upgraded fuel lines are for 93 octane and higher, but talk with Proto, I might be a little off on the facts.

Markski,

Please clarify the trap speed on this K24/20g car and if it is a 996TT or a GT2?

Assuming the turbos are run within their efficiency ranges, from what I've seen from AFR and injector duty cycle logs, I think 600 crank is the safe limit of stock fueling just as 700 crank is the safe limit for stock internals. Anything over that and you are trimming down your safety margins.
Can you overdrive the injectors and push it without immediate failure? Yes. But running your stock fuel system on its ragged edge eliminates its ability to dump fuel when the ECU sees something it doesn't like.
Slapping a bigger turbo on the rig won't get you around that.

I have also ordered a pair of K24/20G, 5 bar FPR, DV, and Proto's ECU waiting for receiving them as my first stage of mod. I hope I can get around 600+ crank HP with pump gas.

After I get used to this power level. I will further upgrade injector, fuel pump, Proto's intercooler, intake system and MAF sensor as my stage two mod. I hope this mod can get around 700 crank HP with pump gas. I look forward to receiving the kit and installing it.

My goal is to have 700 crank HP with pump gas. I follow the suggestion from Markski who told me K24/20g make 40 crank HP more than 18G does. That is why I choose 20g over 18g.

it would be nice to see what a k24/20g car with headers, external wastegates, intercoolers and full fuel could do..
