9FF used Stock Rear Wing to set Record

I think it's pretty interesting that 9FF used what looks like the stock rear wing configuration to set the top speed record a couple of months ago. The story is covered in Excellence and 911 & Porsche World. They went over 230 MPH at Nardo (I think it was Nardo?).

They did look like they changed the front end spoiler to the GT2 configuration however. This may have been both for down force and the more effecient cooling?

IMO, the GT2 add on wing is too tacky.
So... you think the GT2 looks tacky?

Dan said that he thought the replica GT2 wing that goes up and down looked tacky... Not the real GT2 fixed wing...

does the Techart wing close completely like the OEM or is it raised a couple of inches when closed?

I think that it closes completely, it looks just like the wing that Sharky has.

I had it on my car before the GT2 wing.. It does not completely close... It is raised a few inches..

Look in the picture of my car.. The wing in the pictures that is not the GT2 wing is the Type 1 wing...
