DGI Quiet Rings, Michelin PS Ribs and 350MM rear rotors...
Yup, today I took the car, put it in the air and took the wheels off, ran them and the new Michelins down to the shop to have swapped, then went to work making spacers from some 1inch by 1inch by 1/2 inch thick aluminum square stock so my calipers would clear the 997 Turbo rotors properly. I also took my grinder and "clearanced" the posts that hold the outer pad. I removed approximately 5mm of material from the posts... I also removed the old spindle ducts I previously used, since now I"m using the GT3RS cooling ducts.
After picking up the wheels with the new tires mounted, I went for a drive in the car... It was simply amazing. The road noise from the tires is gone. The sound from the exhaust is still there, but much better. It's deeper, and unobtrusive. As much as I liked the DGI system befote, I like it even better with the rings installed. The car is now about as perfect as it can get... I LOVE this car with the mods performed to date.
Other than some Blown6 intercoolers, maybe later this year, and some window tint, I think I'm pretty much done with "stuff" needed for this amazing machine.

I felt zero loss in power. I also have a LOT on tap, so who knows... But I felt no loss in power and the car is making boost as quick as before and is very predictable...
Tom, if you ever kill your existing clutch, and want to get back to a "street" feeling clutch that will hold your power, I have the answer!!!
