Finally Picked Her Up
Thanks Again Guys And One Thing To Ask I Just Went To The Gas Station To Put In Some Gas........and Noticed That I Had About A 1/4 Tank Of Gas And It Only Took Like $35 Dollars To Fuel It Back Up......am I Trippin Here Or Does The 996 Turbo Have A Small Gas Tank.......
The tank is only around 16 gallons, but mine reads empty with 3-4 gals left. I rarely put more then 12 gals at a fill up.
Enjoy
THANKS BRUTHA
Yes, for the small tank , and if you keep your foot in it, you will be filling her up often. You know it is your duty now to burn as much premium unleaded as possible!!! Enjoy the new ride.

gorgeous car congrats. i've been debating on whether to seriously consider a 996TT or a 997S as both cars are priced similarly. I like the looks of the 997 a bit better but the turbo power and modding potential is slowly sucking me in.

Congrats! Like others said, be careful not to rear end someone the first few weeks!
My car is the same. 10-12 gals max when it reads empty. If the tank is indeed 16 gallons, that's a bit of driving after empty!
Is this your first Porsche?

She's a beauty 4 sure. Ditto, I too went from a 997S O5 after 400 miles to a 996tts cab 05 and 03 996tt coupe. LOVE THE TT! Only thing I miss a bit was the sound of the eng of the 997s, but as the others said BOOST makes up for all. Enjoy!
