That was from my Indy mechanic in Dayton... wouldn't surprise me at all if a dealership charged you $500 or more total.. I wouldn't own my car if it weren't for knowing my mechanic will take care of me - he's just as important as the wheels!

 

same issue like my x50 at 25k mile had same oil sending replaced too. Since then all good aside from maf i replaced myself. These sending unit & maf seem to be a common issue for our turbos.

 

Very good point, actually more important than the wheels....I found someone(s) who treats my car like theirs...even though I have to drive an hour to get there...
