Thanks. Like you said, maybe you need to wait for the owner's manual. If you are going to Oracle, it should be somewhat closed to SharkWerks. Stop by there and see some of their cool cars/stuff.

It's still not working for me... Got the owners manual followed the directions (same as you guys posted) and it just won't save it when I unlock with the key. It still moves to the previous owner's position.

Thanks

Hey spoonito, if you're having trouble, go back to the dealership that you bought it from and have them help you out. I'm sure it wouldn't take them long to figure it out.

Key in ignition. Ignition on. Set desired position hold down the key button + memory button together for 3 seconds. I think this should do it? The ignition on is important bit.

Best solution is not to let anyone else drive it.

There are two ways to set the set memory.

One way is using the memory buttons - Ignition to "On", press the "M" button while also pressing one of the number buttons for 5 seconds. If you want the mirror to go down when you reverse, the car must be in reverse when you do any of this. To recall the seat position, turn ignition "On" then press and hold the number button until the seat stops moving.

The second way (and you can program both ways) is to have the seat reset when you press the unlock with the fob. This way is key dependent - the other way is not. For this method, turn the ignition to "on", turn off the ignition, remove the key and press the lock button within 5 seconds. The seat will reset every time you unlock with the fob - different fob - different seat position.

That's all there is to it. It will work every time!

2002 cars + have a key button next to m1 and m2 buttons, so there is only the first method.
