Anything above 6000 kelvin becomes too high of a color temperature for human eyes to "see" well. Actual light output would be the lumens.

so is it harder to see with the 6000k bulbs ? as oppose to the stock ones?

I made my own kit ...I'm an EE so it's more of a hobby for me. If we have enough interests I can make some sets for fellow 6speeders.
