You guys want to make sure the bumper is made of some type of plastic (polyeurethane, etc) and NOT fiberglass.

The problem with fiberglass is that it is very brittle and does not have the flex that plastic bumpers have...go out and push on your OEM bumper to see what I'm talking about.

I am saying this as a body shop owner who does a lot of aftermarket bumper paint and installs. On cars that are this low the fiberglass bumpers will crack all over once and significant pressure is put on (i.e. hitting a dip to hard, bottoming out, etc.)

It is very tough to re-create the flex of the OEM bumper plastic, but as long as your replicas are made of some sort of plastic material that has some nice flex to it you should be in good shape.

Moral of the story: STAY AWAY FROM FIBERGLASS!!!

Guys,

I think we'll have a better chance of this going on if we have some committed buyers. Let's start a list

1) m32 - TA front w/ splitter and small front lip (no CF)

you guys can call me, i have the bumpers in stock and ready to ship

they only make the techart bumpers in figerglass ///MChap, even the real techart bumpers are fiberglass. it's true that fiberglass isnt' as flexible as poly but nobody is willing to invest in a poly mold if techart is going to come and confiscate it LOL

Ok guys... here's the deal as I'm eager to get this thing going. I called Misha and spoke to him for about 10 minutes. This is the deal:

$1,000.00 and shipping $180.00

comes with

top air intake grill

bumper cover

radiator covers (3)

BOTH the small lower lip and large lower lip

He said that all he needs is 3+ people to commit to buying to get this price. Turn around time is 3-4 days. Couple things he said that I'd like to mention.

1) The bumper cover fits great but there needs to be some trimming work to get the ducting right. He told me all replicas require this. If you access to a competent body shop, they can get it done.

2) It DOES NOT include the radiator splitters. I asked him if his supplier can get some but he doesn't believe he makes the mold for them.

If you are serious, PM him (996wings), call him (310-818-1535) or email him (misha@misha911.com) to get in on this deal.

Who's 100% in?

1) M32
