a tip was the first 996t i ever drove and i immediately went out and bought one. a 6spd of course. lol. i suppose if one wanted to drive their turbo while holding a cup of coffee, the tip would be the bee's knees and the better choice. as for me, i tempt fate daily at 6am with hot coffee and a broken cup holder. ha.

that is why i bought a tip. i just drove 700 miles htis weekend, with coffee in one hand, on my phone and handing my 4yo graham *******s... okus i had to sit in traffic for an hour or so.. glad i bought a tip. maybe if i want to mod a car, ill get a manual, but not for this season in my life- shifting is just a hassle at this point.
gotta love paddle shifters. i just couldn't get with the tip and those steering wheel ( what do you call 'em?.. levers/buttons!? lol ) now the pdk is another whole story. that wouldn't even be a decision.. for me.a tip in traffic beats 99% of anything else out there though. for sure.
