Protomotive 24/18 self install...DONE. [Long]
Congrats!
I know how hard this type of thing can be having helped install Powells 700 kit without a lift. I can honestly say to have done something like this on your own you deserve a standing ovation. Only problem is, even with all the power in the world it's never enough. Once again congrats sir, and I hope you enjoy that new found power!

I have about 70 miles left of 93 octane. The Greddy is dialed in at 1.09bar of boost on 93. Hopefully I can get out there this afternoon and do some 60-130's, then put in some 100 and do the same thing w/ a little more boost.
On the lag issue..when I first put in the Greddy and had it shut down to only pull.8bar, I noticed lag when bogging the engine i.e. third gear at 30-40 mph or so. I could tell a difference between the 24/18's and the 16's as the 16's spooled up faster. Having said that, now, honestly, it is tenuous at best to even floor the car in 1st or 2nd gear because of the instant power.
This setup is so vastly different from the upsolute/16/exhaust that I cannot even compare the two. Trust me, you will not notice any lag once you get the ebc dialed in-heck you'll be too busy trying to keep the car on the road to worry about any lag. The power is instant, violent and massive.
I am beginning to see the advantages of the Greddy and would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone. The install is really easy [now that I know how to do it]- someone could put one in in 1-2 hours no problem.
Anyway, thanks for the kind words guys-I'l post some numbers later and send it off to Scott.
Once again, huge thanks to Todd Knighton and Protomotive. He has already sent me emails asking me if there are any issues he needs to address and tweak- and he wrote a little code to fix my stalling issue due to my lwfw. This guy is golden. Service after the sale? You bet!
Thanks guys!

S4- better buy a case of Charmin cause you'll constantly be wiping the schitt eating grin off your face!
str8- Absolutely!!!...Isn't that the next logical step? Truthfully, I am going to get my 60-130 times dialed in w/ the Greddy then look as similar cars' times who do have the fuel setup, then make my decision. If the times are real close and the cost is 5 large I might not do it. If, however, the gap in times are substantial [which I think they will be], I'll probably do it....and if and when I make that move, I might very well move to 24/20's as I have heard of a couple guys making huge power on stock internals. I think I will draw the line with the bottom end- I really don't want to crack her open..............YET!

Just filled it up w/ 100 and got the boost up to 1.5. Now they are really starting to come alive. Have not been able to do any 60-130----too much traffic. My buddy is off racing his formula car this weekend at VIR, but he has the same setup and RADIOS. Wde'll get the V1's going Sunday or Monday and do some pulls in both cars. His is a tip and a convert. so should be interesting.
Alex, where'd you play? I grew up in Miami and played in college---every day after school in high school w/ the Rastas at Miami Dade South....the quote brings back memories!
