EPL tune WOW !

I just had my car custom tuned at EPL .I don't have the Dyno sheets yet maybe Tony could post old to new for me here. I asked Tony to be conservative because I may want to do some DE days with it

Driving impressions is is all can share right now since i just got home with it.

1 I went to pick up lunch . hit it in second..... and Tony's Sprite all over the car
2 Car starts as soon as the key is turned better than OEM. this means perfectly optimized.
2 LWF touchiness when idling down is gone.
4 Now.... power come on so quick and really strong. (mind you I had a FVD stage 4 flash w/ k16/24 hybrids which I thought was great, and it was no slouch.) I didn't have a lot room to really stretch its legs ,But seat of the pants feels amazing even though it was pretty warm today in CT.
5 .Driveability is great, smoothe and very very responsive through out the power band in any gear.

John D was there and knows my set up since I got it from him. He said fast.
i'm impressed ..Tony EPL you are the man!

Man, I should have come up for the party. I've been meaning to meet John in person and it would have been cool to run our cars. Next time for sure! Glad you're happy with them.

Elliot,

Your car felt fantastic after the EPL tune! The more I see of Tony's work, the further impressed I am with his abilities.

Michael,

I think we are going to party again next Saturday. And we are planning another one a few weeks after that...I think it would be great to meet, too.

Thanks Elliot! Im glad to hear you're enjoying it.

Here is a sample of the gains we archived on Elliots car. Most notably is the 35+ ftlb of tourque gain from 3300-4700 and the car is no longer lean in the 3000-4000 rpm range.

It was compared to the FVD stage 4 tune which I had. Using the same k16/24 hybrids .Vflow, ported OEM headers ,GT2 ICs, Fabspeed GEN3

This is a great comparison, as it really shows the benefit of a custom tune. Not only does it produce more power, it runs safer!!

Any idea what this kit would do to my EVOMS stage 2 with Fabspeed exhaust? I am really thinking about getting this kit!

Guessing I am around 525whp now, and I have the RWD conversion also FYI.

thanks

Are you sure you mean Wheel HP. I think with a stage 2 you would be lucky to be making 525 Flywheel HP. IIRC, most likely you are more like 490-500 FWHP at stage 2.

I doubt that.
The way to know is to put it on the Dyno before and after. I would give Tony a call .He is a straight shooter.

My bad! I meant flywheel. Duh.

Yeah but remember I have gone from AWD to RWD and that has been proven to free up decent hp on dyno testing.

Yeah, I meant flywheel.

I have been talking to Tony and might pull the trigger on this kit. At 1/3 the cost of the EVOMS GT660 kit I have been considering (including install costs) it seems to be a great deal.
