Is Goo-Gone or other Citrus adhesive removers safe for removing Visor stickers?

Is Goo-Gone or other Citrus adhesive removers safe for removing Visor stickers?

Is Goo-Gone or other Citrus adhesive removers safe for removing Visor stickers?

They say that you should not expose this stuff on vinyl for extended periods as it will weaken the vinyl.

So would denatured alcohol be better?

I think the stickers are very, very difficult to remove. as an alternative there is a guy on ebay selling black stickers that totally cover up the mirror dopr stickers. the pics look pretty good

It is easy. No, Really.

Use Goo Gone (not goof off). A cotton ball and a few min. of your time.

Dab the Goo Gone on the lable and wait about 5 min. Remove. Apply more as needed.

Did this on all my BMW's without issue.

I did this on my 2002 BMW M3 no problem, but this 2004 TT sticker looks like it was spraypainted on!

I'm worried I'll mess up my visor trying to take it off.

Denatured Alcohol works well too, that's what I used. That...and a LOT of patience! Good luck.

Tim, did you get to remove the Porsche stickers yet, or just the BMW's?
