What's the difference in these seats?

I have been noticing that there are a couple of different finishes on seats.

There is one that is pleated and then a more smooth seat.

Do you guys know the difference and when they come which way.

Maybe years or something.

Thanks guys![IMG][/IMG]

Eric 993TT is infamous around these parts
The beige seat has the supple leather option. I think it was available in all years. Unfortunately, the supply leather looks pretty worn after a few years.

The second picture looks like supple leather seats vs. the standard leather seats in the first picture.

Ahh - Great!

Makes sense.

Yes I like the regular leather better - doesn't look to get as worn or dated...

Thanks guys,

and you can get the regular leather seats from 2001 - 2005?

I agree. I would look for "sport seats".

Just like regular but with shoulder bolsters and a hard back.
