Hello Gentlemen,

I have been reading thru the forum and am now very confused. I recently purchased a 2002 996tt, tiptronic. The car is for everyday use, city and highway, not track. I would like to make some simple mods. I would like to do the following:

1) program the tiptronic for max sport settings. The tip currently thinks i am a grandma and shifts way to early and way to high.

2) increase BHP with reflash of ECU in place.

I will be considering mechanical mods later, but really want DIY reprograming if possible. Anyone have any recommendations? I know these things have been discussed, but I can't find a thread which lays it out clearly.
