Fabspeed Straight Pipes for Rent?

I want to get a pair of fabspeed straight pipes. Does anyone care to rent them to me for a weekend so I can try them out?

Here are the details of my situation. I am having the Fabspeed Loud (I think) installed next week and I will not have enough time with the exhaust to decide if I like it before my track event on Aug 7. I would like to use the straight pipes at the event but I would hate to have to buy them when I am not sure of the exhaust itself.

Anyone?

how about we split the cost three ways and that way we all cut our loses if we don't like 'em? I'm in for a third

interesting idea. it's too bad we don't all live in the same place otherwise i'd definitely be game. Not sure if it would end up being worth it with shipping and everything.

Out of curiosity, anybody ever dyno and see the difference between say a Europipe or Fabspeed with their cats versus no cats at all..Does the deletion of the cats help top-end hp at all?

Interesting Ken, I'm in. Anyone else? Shipping should be minimal, maybe $20 anywhere in the US.

what do they cost, like $500? What do you guys propose?

How about this to minimize shipping costs and hassle...Color, you buy them for the 500. If you don't like them Ken will buy them from you for 400. If he doesn't like them i'll buy them from him for 300. If i don't like them i'm prepared to eat the 300 or try to sell them.

i need a middle man Color. i don't mind taking them for 300 but i don't want to get stuck with them at 400.

EDIT: and before we decide on anything lets see how much Stephen can get them to us for. Maybe he's feeling generous

The idea is we all eat 1/3 if none of us like them. If we all like them we all end up paying full bore. It doesn't matter if you like them or not, send them on to #2 and then to #3. If only one guy likes them, he ends up with the orginal unit. If two guys wants them, then one gets the slightly used piece and one a new one. Ditto if all three like them. I have no problem being #3 and ending up with the used piece. And if none of us like it, then I'll sell it and we'll split the difference three ways between what it cost and what we lost. That's fair - maybe a little work, but the last thing I need in the garage is another exhaust (like I have with numerous sets of wheels/tires/seats)

I've got a set of them I'd happily sell you for $300. They are too loud for me. They've been on the car twice. They are a bit blued. PM me if you want them.

let me know and I will blow out several sets. Since our exhaust uses Quick release aircraft/MIL SPec V band flanges anyone can adjust the sound level and power in seconds. When you are at the racetrack and or some of the 40+ guys runnin' straight pipes on the street.........................sound & power level is your choice VERSUS any other big heavy one pice fully welded systems like all of our competitors.
Let me know before I load up for Watkins GLen this weekend. I have several sets in stock and will hook you up. Dont blma eme if you REQUIRE plastic surgery & Botox to remove the smile wrinkles & grins from your faces. Over & out!
