Clear Bra Install in So. Cal. Complete..

I had the 3M Clear bra installed yesterday by Envisage Design Labs in Torrance California (310) 787-7544 which comes recommended by Arling at Lucent. Great bunch of guys and had high speed internet so I could work as I watched them install the bra!

I had the following components covered:

1. Front Bumber.
2. Hood Wrap with edges/fender/mirrors.
3. Headlights.
4. Inner Front Wheel Arches.
5. Rear inner Wheel Arches
6. Rocker Panel Front Rear Arches (one piece).
7. Fuel Spill Guard
8. Side Air Intake Guard

Now I know that there are people on both sides of the fence regarding the 3M Clear Bra but on Speed Yellow it is "almost" invisible. Take a look at the following photos and see if you can see the bra. Especially look at the last 2 pics (6 & 7) and let me know if you see anything.

Its hard to judge by looking at internet photos. But on my own SY car the clearbra all but disapears till you are right on top of it. Keeping the lines clear of dirt and wax buildup is key to maintaining the invisibility.

Sloth,

Any advice on just how to keep the lines clean? I was thinking to use a Q-Tip with some cleaner to do the line itself? How do you do it?

I just use quick detailer with a microfiber towel along the edges. Some use a Q-Tip with a little alcohol on it to help break down any wax buildup.

Rob,

Does your hood bra go all the way to the windshield or half way up?

Does your fender wrap go all the way to the door edge?

How much was your entire job?
