The E46 M3 is a great car, but definitely a step down in performance from your Turbo
The Turbo actually replaced 2 cars, a 1998 BMW 540i and a 2000 Magnetic Red Corvette convertible. After about a year and a half, I was missing not having a convertible so I bought a 1997 30th Ann Camaro convertible with 132k miles....which is up to 160k miles 20 months later......a mile-eating machine.
Curious reading the thread and seeing so many admirers of M-cars. I'm thinking about replacing the Camaro with a 2004 E46 M3 (or a VW EOS) this Winter. Are M3s that good?
