Congratulations

Wow, you have a really beautiful low mileage Turbo. The black metallic looks flawless in the photos and why not given the low miles. Black with black leather always rocks with a Turbo. I know some folks are suggesting modifications.

The 1st thing I'd do (if it's not already done) is get as much 3M clear bra or similar over the nose and as much of the vulnerable parts of the car as I could afford, the hood, in front of the rear wheels. An experienced installer will know where it needs to go. Or just do the nose for now & keep the paint as perfect as it looks in the picture.

Enjoy it soothsayer, drive fast, take risks, don't crash, and have fun. jaj

Once again, thanks guys. Im really lovin it so far. Here are some ridiculously poor quality interior pics....I could've taken photography as an elective in college but this hot girl I wanted to have an intellectual conversation with took cooking...I learned about the many uses of whip cream . A+

some of the interior leather options include:
XJ4: leather ignition lock rosette
XMP: leather sun visors
XMZ: rear center console leather
XNG: leather instrument surround
XNN: center air vents carrier, carrier for heater controls/frame of air
condition and switch covers in leather
XNU: trim molding for the upper dashboard covered with leather color of int.
XN3: leather fresh air side vents
XKL: leather hazzard surround??
XU1: speakers wrapped in leather??

Thank you vbmw. I am currently in the nw burbs..let me know if I can be of assistance. My quest for a turbo has been a long one since I traded in the c4s for a 645ci and realized I made a huge mistake. I was actually searching for the right 03-04 x50 for quite some time. This one struck an interest cause of the color and miles and thought I'd take a look...I couldnt pass up. I will tell you that I was patient yet I visited autotrader, cars, ebaymotors no less than 15 times a day like everyday for months. I had those listings pretty much memorized. Godspeed vbmw335!!

Its crazy that you say that!..iam doing the same exact thing (memorizing listings)for the past few weeks. But havent been lucky enough to find the right car. My top color choice is black followed by silver and doesnt matter if its a non x50 (thinking of 16g pkg to start with). I was looking specifcally for a 02 -04 because of all the gear pop out issues with 01...any truth to this? is only on the 01"s?

I currently have a modded 335i ...its a great DD car fast and all that but looking for a different kind of car this time. I live in the schaumburg area and would love to take a look at your car and get an idea of what could be in store for me in the near future. Please let me know.
