Well, like so many before me, I've been a long time lurker and avid thread reader of this forum. At the puchase of an 04 c4s a couple years ago, the addiction to 6speed began...but I was just a reader. Although sad to see the c4s go, I am back with a vengeance with the recent purchase of an 01 996 turbo. No comparison. This car is intoxicating. The sickness has already taken course with the recent additions of clear side markers, wiper delete, bumper/key plugs, and short shifter....and Im no fool to think it ends there.

Im excited to be a member here and hope to contribute more to this forum as I become more experienced behind the wheel. Let me add that I have read so many threads by you guys that I feel like I already know many of you.

So the car is an 01 turbo blk metallic/blk 12500 miles 6 speed with pcm and a bunch of extra leather....

many members on here love the speedtech exhaust.... only reason its coming off my car is because a friend of mine is taking my car in a few months and he wanted something loud...

Congrats. That's a low mileage car! My 02 had 9700 miles when i bought it. 3 years later I'm in the low 20s and loving it. These cars are beasts.

thanks for the kind words guys....the previous owner didnt put alot of miles on it which i viewed as a good and potential bad thing considering its an 01. I didnt want one that was sitting around for too long. But I had it checked and it came out perfect. It pretty much smells and runs like new....so im a happy guy!

Nice car. Good to see you brought your check book. Have fun with the mods. I wish I was starting to mod now. Prices are MUCH better, product is much more refined and the options are growing every day.
