I have dyno'd a number of cars on his dyno and it reads true....and lower compared to other dynos I've been on.
This board cracks me up....
For Mssr Jamie: To the tune of "Rawhide"
Ride'n, Ride'n, Ride'n
Tim's Nuts Jamie's a Ride'n
Nutride!
Keep ride'n, ride'n, ride'n,
Though the dyno #'s are swollen,
Keep them inflated numbers rollin', Nutride.
Through Ohio snow and weather,
Hell bent for leather,
Wishin' my GT2 was still by my side.
All the things I'm missin',
Good interior, boost, Porsche emblem,
Once were waiting for me in my ride.
Move em out , inflate 'em up,
Post 'em up, flame 'em on.
Move 'em out, inflate 'em up:
Nutride

Come on...I did that AND got 2 sets of final grades in all in one hour.
But admittedly, I need to work in something about cheap plastic dashboards, mullets, gold chains all wrapped in a JDM rice bowl attitude.
And I know a lot about the capability of the 24/8 hybrids...amazing even on a stock fuel system but 623 on a car that is actually raced in the real world? Not bloody likely!

I'd be happy to pay your gas to drive up to Cleveland for some video.
You're the worst offender of the sheep mentality around here....
LOL , hey jamie you have something hanging off your chin .
i could care less how fast my car is , im not trying to break any records by any means.unlike you , you need to have a so called fast car to make up for you insecurities and your small unit .
cheers brother.
PS , ill be competing soon in Ohio , so if you want to meet in person to furthermore discuss this ill be happy to =)
ill buy you lunch.

I would love to run your S-4 Jamie...would be interesting in a straight line. However I seriously doubt you would hang w/ me on a road course. My Gt 28's may not be world beaters up top but my car is set up perfectly for the track.
Speaking up top, the 24/18's are excellent in that regard. I have personally run 2 Porsches that have them so I know exactly what they have. But they are running close, maybe half a step behind me (in a GT 2 w/out my 150lb stereo seystem....a little more in a 996TT). If they were putting down 623 they would put a length on my car which is putting down 20 rwhp less.
Unless you are arguing that Tim is getting more out of them than the man who designed them. If so, please see the above song

I'm not out to break any records....anyone who actually knows me knows cars are just another hobby for me. But I am lucky to associate myself with really good, (small) shops. I have never followed the herd....every car I've been involved with is different than the crowd. Some of them get woodies off the hp and performance we've made, but that's their business. I am always happy to help their business though because they deserve it. Tym hasn't even built a car for me (yet) but he's one of the best out there.
And guys like you who armchair criticize others who have made much better results for less money make me laugh.
If you're coming through the Cleveland area, I'm always up for a free lunch.
Jamie
