rear decklid fan N/W

I use to always hear my rear decklid fan kick on after shutting down my car.. have not heard it since new DV's and exhaust installed.. and a flash.. could the flash have something to do with the decklid fan not coming on? I would think some type of temp control kicks the fan on...? could my fan be no good? is there a simple way of checking out if its the fan or something else is not right.. I already checked the fuse.. I believe its a 5 amp fuse.. and that was good.
thanks

Make sure the wires did not come loose or disconnect...the flash will have nothing to do with this.

I see the connection into the fan.. thats pluged in and the other wires I see run from the decklid seem to be connected in the engine compartment... wondering if my fan took a dump... the fan spins whel i try with my finger so I know its not seized or jammed.. I dont have a voltage tester to see if there is power at the push in connector that plugs into the fan

Does the deck lid light operate? Are you getting any codes?

If you can find a shop with a PST2 (or PIWIS) they can easily test your fan - it takes about 2 minutes.
